While AI rapidly surpasses the intellectual limits of humankind, the physical world faces a critical bottleneck: physical limitations. No matter how many digital theories we accumulate, if the ability to plan, design, manufacture, and deliver physical things cannot keep up, global progress stalls. Remarkably, the baseline speed of this legacy industry has remained virtually unchanged for the past 30 years.

Our company is changing this trajectory by reconnecting the fragmented wisdom of the physical supply chain—design, procurement, cost, and quality—unifying separate systems and data layers into a single contextual ecosystem. By empowering humans to access this collective wisdom and utilizing AI to execute complex parallel workflows, we are accelerating physical innovation tenfold.

The Leadership Challenge Ahead

We are actively transforming from a hyper-successful single-product operation into a global powerhouse that simultaneously manages multiple products, multiple businesses, and multiple distinct markets. In less than three years, we have launched dozens of successful enterprise platforms while expanding our footprint from Japan to the United States and ASEAN regions.

We do not lack the talent to build or refine individual applications; we have exceptional Product Managers driving those initiatives. What we lack is a singular business leader who can unify these multi-product, multi-business lines into a cohesive management structure.

In an era where AI accelerates product creation, market dominance is decided by how quickly and accurately you can manage a complex business portfolio. As there are no pre-existing global playbooks for this specific cross-section of industry, AI, and global scale, we need an executive who views business strategy, corporate management, and product design as deeply interconnected. You will step into this role with the explicit purpose of mastering our portfolio and preparing to step up into the CPO role itself.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Management & Business Results

  • Take absolute, end-to-end responsibility for the commercial business results of multiple product lines and cross-functional teams.

  • Shift focus away from individual feature roadmaps to strategically allocate resources across the entire corporate portfolio, personally driving macro business KPIs.

Executive Decision-Making & Succession

  • Work directly under the current CPO, actively participating in high-level management decision-making while grooming yourself to fully take over the CPO mantle.

  • Debate, refine, and align corporate strategy on an equal footing with the Board of Directors and executive leadership.

Organizational Architecture

  • Unify decentralized Product Management (PdM), Product Marketing (PMM), and Engineering organizations into a single, highly functional management unit.

  • Focus heavily on macro-level prioritization, designing the overarching strategic vectors for highly skilled teams rather than managing micromanagement workflows.

Global Standard Execution

  • Translate product management frameworks developed in Japan into the de facto global standard for the industrial world.

  • Own executive decisions regarding which products to introduce, scale, or deprecate across highly diverse localized business practices in the US and ASEAN markets.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Executive Product Strategy: Proven experience designing and executing comprehensive product strategies directly linked to macro-level business growth at an executive tier (e.g., VP of Product, Group PM, CPO, or equivalent leadership positions).

  • Multi-Portfolio Oversight: Demonstrated management experience directly overseeing multiple concurrent products and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Boardroom Credibility: Proven track record of high-stakes decision-making, commercial negotiation, and strategic communication at the executive management and Board of Directors level.

  • Uncertainty Navigation: Direct experience building scalable products and corporate businesses completely from scratch, demonstrating the courage to make decisive choices in highly ambiguous environments.

  • Language Proficiency: A professional level of Japanese proficiency that allows for flawless communication and debate at a highly abstract strategic level (equivalent to JLPT N1).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Leaders who are genuinely dissatisfied with simply "creating good products" and are eager to possess total strategic discretion over an entire corporate business portfolio.

  • Thinkers possessing exceptional intellectual curiosity who are energized by the prospect of entering uncharted territory where no benchmark playbooks exist.

  • Strategy-minded professionals who find the multidimensional complexity of portfolio management far more stimulating than mastering a single siloed product line.

  • Executives who strike a perfect balance between the courage to negotiate with management on equal footing and a down-to-earth, hands-on connection to the reality of the actual product.
