About the Position:
This is a new opportunity for an AMS project involving transition activities and ongoing application maintenance and support services. The selected candidate will lead a team of approximately 15-20 members across onsite and offshore locations, managing application maintenance and support activities for a prestigious global manufacturing client.
Responsibilities:
- Own overall service delivery across AMS, support, and development engagements.
- Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI commitments and service quality targets.
- Implement service improvement plans and drive operational excellence.
- Manage incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Act as the primary interface for client stakeholders.
- Conduct governance meetings, service reviews, and escalation management.
- Align delivery roadmaps with customer business goals.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience as an onsite Project Manager.
- Experience managing AMS projects.
- Strong delivery experience in Application Maintenance and Support (AMS).
- Expertise in SLA and KPI management.
- Strong risk management and governance experience.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience managing large and distributed teams.
- Japanese language capability to understand existing system specifications and design documents.
- English communication skills to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
Work Style:
- Work location will be either at the company office or customer site.
- Hybrid working style with approximately 2-3 days per week at the office or customer location.
