Cloud Engineering Manager

Annual Salary:10 million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Promoting the standardization of the Cloud environment across the entire Prudential Group in Japan
• Achieving enhanced security, automation, and cost optimization in the Japanese Cloud environment
• Introducing and operating common services and tools in the Cloud environment
• Providing automation solutions and cost management tools
• Providing technical advice on cloud system construction
• Addressing business needs through development project support
• Collaborating with the Global Technology Team (GT) to implement cross-region systems
• Managing team members, performance management, task management, etc.

Job Qualification:

• Deep understanding of cloud technology (especially AWS), practical experience in system design, development, and operation on the cloud (5+ years)
• Project management experience
• English communication skills (weekly meetings with the US, daily email and chat communication)
• Ability to coordinate with business departments, and ability to clearly explain technical content

Preferred Skills:

• Team management experience (planning, progress management, member development, etc.)
• Expertise and practical experience in areas other than cloud, such as networking and security
• Knowledge of GenAI and cloud-native technologies
• Experience in developing and leading application layers

Japanese Language: Fluent level Japanese (N1) and Business level English.
