Job Purpose:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition provides leadership and direction to Talent Acquisition team. Leads the regional recruitment team and is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Talent Acquisition by planning, implementing, and evaluating employment operations processes. The Manager, Talent Acquisition provides strong functional consultation and creates line of sight linkage to company/business unit strategic goals. Manages the recruitment function to deliver a professional, efficient and proactive recruitment service in order to fulfill Tech Data’s people resourcing demands. Ownership of employment process regulatory compliance. English Fluency Required, Multilingual is a plus!
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead annual and quarterly action plans based on hiring KPIs and business objectives
Drive KPI achievement through data analysis and continuous improvement cycles (PDCA)
Maximize the use of recruitment technologies such as HRIS, ATS and CRM to strengthen sourcing, screening, and talent pool development
Introducing and implementing new technologies, including AI and tools that improve candidate experience, enhance operational efficiency, and support rapid adaptation to business needs
Collaborate with Japan HR teams (HR Director, HRBP, HR Ops, C&B) to ensure transparent, accurate, and user‑friendly HR operations
Establish, update, and monitor processes that comply with country‑level labor laws and regulations
Monitor market and talent trends and update recruitment strategies and processes as needed
Promoting internal mobility by offer career counseling to increase awareness of internal opportunities and strengthen employee retention.
Clarify goals and responsibilities for team members and promote performance and capability development
Delivering practical on‑the‑job training based on the company’s sales cycle and internal processes, supporting issue resolution
Provides servant leadership with motivation and guidance to the team.
Provides on the job training and understands each business units value proposition
Drives TD SYNNEX's Diversity and Inclusion philosophies and goals through education and reinforcement with hiring leaders
Networks with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
Regulatory Compliance / Operations
Pulls and reviews daily reports on teams volume and efficiency
Identifies, analyzes and implements solutions/recommended process improvements for employment operations
Ensures compliance within country guidelines.
Ongoing monitoring of recruiting costs to ensure within budget.
Responsible for developing and maintaining and coordinating business reviews with Vendors.
Branding
Ensures that TD SYNNEX’s Employment Brand is consistently and professionally represented by the employment team and supporting resources at community recruitment events.
Evaluates TD SYNNEX’s social media sites to ensure TD SYNNEX’s Employment Brand is consistently and professionally represented; leverages sites to drive applicant flow and brand awareness.
Develop the TD SYNNEX Employer Brand and ensure it is marketed effectively to attract high quality candidates

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
>5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience independently driving the PDCA cycle of recruitment strategies based on business needs and target talent
>1 to 3 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
Japanese: Native level / English: Business level or above
