Job Description
You will lead the planning and automation promotion of corporate IT modernization as a Project Manager, assigned to a three-person Information Systems Department. This position involves leading the development of internal business systems based on AI nativeness, from planning to implementation and promotion — proactively handling business process reengineering (BPR), requirements definition, tool selection, and decisions regarding in-house development or outsourcing, while designing the foundation of corporate IT. You are expected not only to lead but also to actively participate in implementation and testing.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate corporate IT policies, business process reengineering (BPR), and selection/implementation planning of tools and SaaS
- Plan, define requirements, and design effects for AI-based business improvement and automation themes; determine implementation policies
- Design automation scripts and API integrations, and lead implementation and verification, taking responsibility for the technical aspects
- Manage vendor quality, progress, and costs, as well as contracts and negotiations
- Design and develop operational rules and controls related to information security and IT governance
- Work within main usage environments including AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini via Google Workspace), development tools (GitHub, AWS, GCP), SaaS (Google Workspace, Entra ID, Slack, Jira, Confluence, Accel-Mart, etc.), and MDM (Intune, Jamf)
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of practical experience in the IT field
- Practical experience in business requirements definition, business process reengineering (BPR), or project management (lead person or higher)
- Experience using AI/LLM in business, or experience leading the design of such AI/LLM
- Practical experience in development and implementation (Python, TypeScript, Go, etc.), with the ability to independently determine technology selection and architectural policies
- Ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders with different positions, such as management, on-site staff, and contractors, and to drive projects forward while engaging and building consensus
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience and leadership in the information systems/corporate IT domain at a business company
- Experience promoting company-wide business automation using SaaS, iPaaS, low-code, etc.
- Experience designing and operating Google Workspace, Entra ID, Slack, Jira, AWS, GCP
- Knowledge of information security and IT governance (ISMS, etc.)
- Experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost management
Language Required - Fluent level Japanese and Business level English
