Digital Engagement and Sales Manager – PTC Japan

Job Summary

The Digital Engagement and Sales Manager at PTC Japan is responsible for accelerating pipeline growth and revenue through digital-first engagement strategies across the product portfolio (Creo, Windchill, ALM and Service solutions). This role bridges marketing and sales by leveraging digital channels, data-driven insights, and account-based strategies to engage engineering, manufacturing, and product development organizations in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Pipeline Generation

  • Drive demand generation and pipeline creation through digital channels (web, webinars, paid media, social, partner ecosystems)
  • Design and execute campaigns targeting key industries in Japan (automotive, industrial machinery, high-tech)
  • Implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for strategic enterprise accounts
  • Optimize inbound/outbound digital funnel conversion (MQL → SQL → pipeline)

Build ecommerce experience

Digital Sales Enablement

  • Partner with sales teams to enable digital selling (LinkedIn engagement, content-led outreach, virtual demos, webinars)
  • Provide actionable insights on prospect behavior using CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools
  • Support sales plays for key PTC solutions (e.g., CAD modernization, PLM transformation, digital thread, service lifecycle management)

Customer Engagement & Experience

  • Enhance digital customer journeys across awareness, evaluation, and post-sale expansion
  • Deliver personalized content aligned to personas (engineering, IT, manufacturing leadership)
  • Strengthen customer retention and expansion through digital touchpoints and lifecycle campaigns

Data, Analytics & Performance Management

  • Own digital KPIs including pipeline contribution, conversion rates, cost per lead, and ROI
  • Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize engagement strategies
  • Provide business insights and reporting to Japan leadership and global stakeholders

Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration

  • Work closely with key partners (e.g., system integrators, resellers like Otsuka Corporation) to scale digital reach
  • Enable partners with digital assets, campaigns, and co-marketing programs
  • Align partner-driven pipeline with PTC strategic priorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or sales within B2B enterprise software
  • Experience in PLM, CAD or SaaS solutions a plus
  • Proven success in pipeline generation and digital-led revenue growth
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, marketing automation (e.g., Sitecore), and analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of Japanese enterprise customer behavior and buying processes
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
