This is a new business Hunting sales role with primary focus on building new robust relationships with Global Customers - IT decision makers in the Japan on Global Accounts.

The goal is to secure new customers for our core suite of Personal Systems (PC’s/Notebooks/Workstations/Monitors)/ Device as Service, and Print

The role holder will work closely with the Japan country commercial PC sales teams/Global Accounts sales Hunting team and wider HP teams to be successful in selling our HP Inc Hardware(PC / Notebook) and services to new customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pursuit for acquiring new logo opportunities in the country Japan Global Accounts segments, building out the Value Added Sales Plan for each acquisition target global account
  • Build an annual Sales Development plan that includes a specific target account list
  • Responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly, annual quota and/or margin.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business Key Strategic Objectives
  • Applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for HP.
  • Maintains high-level of customer loyalty and builds trust and integrity.
  • React to customer / partners queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Acts as a first interface on selected Global accounts in collaboration with members of global business teams, and local teams.
  • Work with supporting departments to resolve sales requests to a satisfactory standard
  • Accurately complete sales documentation which supports the sale of products and services that include Opportunity Assessment Review quotations, proposals, RFP/ RFI and tenders or BAFO and auctions.
  • Lead on the creation and delivery of new business presentations with customers
  • Make sure that the CRM system is kept updated with customer and opportunity information in line with the KPI’s set by your manager
  • Provide information to Japan Commercial Sales Management and to your manager and other internal individuals / departments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Work and contribute within the broader commercial teams, creating and promoting ideas to assist colleagues in the achievement of set objectives
  • Work professionally, effectively and constructively to promote the company

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Ideally have previous sales experience to selling to Global Accounts and an understanding of the Japan international business market and the challenges customers face
  • PC Industry experience required.
  • Advanced sales negotiation, and deal closing skills.
  • Experience in product specialty (PC / notebooks/ solution and services sales)
  • Typically 8-12 years of experience as referenced above.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Has good sales leadership skills and cross functional expertise.
  • You thrive on a challenge of acquisition, and look forward to identifying, developing and engaging with prospect Global customers for the country Japan
  • Broad understanding of the customer's needs; applies standard as well as creative solutions to meet those needs; particularly considering the specific industry/market.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external colleagues/ SI / partners on multiple levels to deliver appropriate solution sales
  • Identifies and effectively leads the account resources to ensure coordinated, efficient, account management, and accountability for achieving business results.
  • Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes in large deals.
  • Knowledge of HP's breadth of products / solutions and engages specialist resources as needed.
  • Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to HP solutions.
  • Proven track record in managing and securing new business through to delivery of new business targets
  • Able to interface with senior levels in internal HP and external, client and partner groups
  • Language – English/ Japanese
