The Role and Impact

  • As an Industry Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting Intel's innovative technologies and solutions, driving business growth, and solving complex industry challenges.

  • This commissioned sales position offers the exciting opportunity to work with Japanese enterprise and customers, and strategic partners, influencing technology adoption and fostering deep, trusted relationships.

  • You will contribute to positioning Intel as a thought leader and trusted advisor while creating demand for Intel's product portfolio and shaping future technology trends within the industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for Intel's cutting-edge Edge to Cloud products and solutions (mainly Data Center, Server related products and solutions), using a vertically oriented, solutions-led approach to address complex business and IT challenges.

  • Build and maintain strategic technical relationships with customers and partners, such as Japanese Enterprise customers, as well as CSPs, ISVs, and SI/MSP partners, acting as a trusted advisor.

  • Develop technically advanced solutions to address customer needs, creating demand for Intel products and expanding market share.

  • Collaborate with Intel business units and stakeholders to maximize the utilization of Intel product capabilities across the solution stack.

  • Drive deal wins and identify new market opportunities by offering innovative solutions tailored to cloud-based services and industry-specific needs.

  • Exhibit deep knowledge of industry trends and Intel's diverse product portfolio to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to understand satisfaction drivers and provide strategic input to Intel's product development roadmap.

  • Deliver compelling presentations and keynotes at industry and customer forums, positioning Intel as a leader in technology solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in a related field (Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent) and prolonged study in a specialized field.

  • 6+ years of experience in technical sales, solution development, or business development roles.

  • Proficiency in Semiconductor, CPU, AI, Edge-to-Cloud solutions, server infrastructure, and networking technologies.

  • Proven track record of leading infrastructure architecture discussions with Japan Enterprise Customers as well as CSPs, ISVs, and SI/MSP partners.

  • Ability to influence Director or General Manager-level stakeholders and lead technical engagements.

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English, including speaking, writing, and listening.

  • Strong organizational discipline with a focus on achieving measurable results.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in solution sales or business development roles, preferably in the IT Services industry.

  • Extensive knowledge of industry trends and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.

  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to adapt in fast-paced and high-ambiguity environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to influence and negotiate.
