Java / Python Developer
We urgently require a Java or Python Developer for our clients in Tokyo.
Mandatory:
- 2+ years of Java or 2+ years of Python development experience
- 1+ years of RDBMS SQL experience (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Mandatory Linux/Unix Shell Scripting experience
- Knowledge of Windows CMD and Windows environment
- Business Level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or Native)
- Basic understanding of system development project processes
- Ability to provide operational support (Level 3) for system applications
- Basic DevOps knowledge, preferably with AWS experience
- Experience with any cloud environment
Preferred:
- Ability to give technical presentations in Japanese
- Business Level English proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Math, or Engineering
- Evidence of designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines
- Understanding of computer networking and infrastructure
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs
- Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with BI tools
- Development experience with Snowflake, AWS cloud, StreamSets
- Good understanding and working knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Self-starter attitude
