The position
To sustain our sales momentum and achieve profit target, strategic logistics planning and operation is critical to our business including selecting/managing our freight forwarder for our products, allocate warehouse resources reflecting the inventory situation and upgrade online-omni channel operation with the vendor.
The Logistics Manager is newly created position to oversee and improve whole logistics activities, with managing an Assistant Logistics Manager and 0.5-1.0 headcount of temporally staff.

We are looking for Logistics Manager who has:
- 7-10 years+ relevant previous work experience in Retail logistics.
Experience in luxury brands preferred (not a must)
- Team management/people management experience.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and motivated person with the ability to work to targets in a deadline driven environment.
- Detail oriented and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must be fluent in English and Japanese.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Pride oneself in the ability to quickly adapt and find scrappy solutions in a rapidly changing/growing business.
- Possesses an intellectual curiosity for fashion, culture, arts and craft.
業務内容
Roles & Responsibilities
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for import/export management, custom control, domestic transportation, warehousing and all the stock related matters.
Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:
a) Import/export management
・Manage import/export flow from global logistics hub in Spain to Japan for products (leather products, RTW and related accessories), non-products including VMD tools, Store Development tools, Catalogue and others.
・Leadtime management/delivery tracking for each collection launch.
b) Custom control
・All custom clearance management including documentation and duty control, including TQ management for leather shoes.
・Administration of documents.
・Attend audit both internally and externally.
c) Domestic transportation and warehousing
・Manage all transportation of imported products from port to retail stores in Japan through Japan local warehouse.
・Control and enhance efficiency for warehouse operation (inbound goods/outbound goods/returned goods from stores/stock location management) and cost by monitoring KPI.
・Manage online-omni channel stock & order delivery.
・Control product stock/non-sellable stock items.
Cross-Functional /Business Partners
Your will have direct interaction with several areas of the organization including:
- Loewe Global Logistics/Distribution team in Spain.
- Logistics in other brands in LVMH Fashion Group Japan
- Japan Supply Chain Allocation, Planning, Merchandising, Retail Operation, VMD, Quality control, Store planning.
- 3PL warehouse, Freight forwarder, domestic transportation companies
- Loewe Japan Business planning & control and LVMH Fashion Group Finance.
