Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Key interface with Business Planning & Operation (BP&O) and team, and also other department like Category Business Unit (BU), Other channels, Supply Chain Management and Finance.
  • Drive distribution, channel, account strategy and plan by category with category leaders in WHS across GTM milestones
  • Drive category target setting and achievement in IBP target
  • Lead category calendar integration in WHS channel, communicate with category leaders to establish account plan by category.
  • Bridge the communication with marketing, and drive sell in (Tenjikai) readiness

Key Responsibilities:

(As category sales) It is basically receiving support by director to finalize

  • Be the key interface with BU, category sales and account leaders to provide feedback on range structure, assortment plan, Japan Brand Range.
  • Be the key interface on behalf of WHS with other channels, Supply Chain Management and Finance to align several topics.
  • Propose Category Seasonal Input contents and fix it, collaborating with BP&O and category sales leaders
  • Propose contents of mid-term channel strategy and fix it, collaborating with BP&O and category sales leaders
  • Consolidate financial target by category and by account based on brand direction (qualitative POV)
  • Create feedback on brand handover from global with Category Sales Leaders and BU team.
  • Create and propose key franchise sell-out and order plans for key categories with Category Sales Leaders to Sales for Tenjikai
  • Propose order/sell-in/sell-out/inventory plans for key franchises in key category footwear and build consensus among board members and channels
  • Support Category Sales Leaders to get alignment of Category Distribution/Exclusive strategy etc. within the Sales Department for Tenjikai
  • Create consistent format/agenda and contents for KA Tenjikai Pre-line meeting, collaborating with account leaders
  • Work with BP&O to provide IBP number (seasonal fcst by channel by category).
  • Work with BP&O to provide sellout reports and clearance recommendations by category for the current season.
  • Alert to inbound status to propose solution, collaborating BP&O
  • Inventory analysis and clearance proposal on past season inventory, collaboration BP&O, other channels and Supply Chain Management.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree, or equivalent professional experience, ideally with Marketing and Sales experience.
  • 10 years+ of Sales and Marketing experience.
  • 10 years+ of account management experience; ideally with key account management.
  • 10+ years of data analysis experience.
