Description

YouAppi is a rapidly growing and advanced app retargeting company that is changing the way mobile marketers find and retain mobile app customers.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to own product marketing and lead generation across our two most strategic Asian markets, Japan and Korea. This is a high-visibility, autonomous role reporting directly into APAC marketing leadership and working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and global brand teams.

You will be the in-market authority for both JP and KR: translating global product narratives into locally resonant campaigns, building the pipeline that fuels our sales motion, and representing the voice of the market back into headquarters. The AdTech landscape in Japan and Korea is fast-moving and highly relationship-driven therefore we need someone who understands the ecosystem and can operate with commercial urgency.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Marketing:

  • Own go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product and feature launches in JP and KR markets, from positioning and messaging to launch execution.
  • Develop localised product collateral (pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, case studies) in Japanese, Korean, and English.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence; synthesise insights into actionable positioning recommendations.
  • Partner with Product and Sales to build buyer personas and define the value proposition for advertisers, agencies, DSPs, and SSPs in each market.
  • Enable the regional Sales team with tools, training materials, and market-specific messaging that shortens sales cycles.

Lead Generation & Demand Generation:

  • Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation programs targeting media agencies, brand advertisers, and AdTech buyers across JP and KR.
  • Own MQL and SQL pipeline targets in partnership with Sales; track and optimise conversion at each funnel stage.
  • Manage regional paid and owned channels including Facebook, Naver, Kakao, Google, LinkedIn, and local trade publications.
  • Build and iterate on nurture workflows via marketing automation (HubSpot / Marketo) to convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities.
  • Run ABM (Account-Based Marketing) programs targeting strategic enterprise accounts in both markets.

Events & Field Marketing:

  • Plan and execute regional events, roundtables, and webinars that generate pipeline and build brand credibility.
  • Manage the company's presence at key industry events (e.g. ad:tech Tokyo, DigiAd Korea, Programmatic Day).
  • Build and maintain relationships with local industry bodies, media associations, and trade press.

Analytics & Budget Management:

  • Own the regional marketing budget; allocate spend across channels and report on ROI and cost-per-lead.
  • Deliver regular campaign performance reports to APAC leadership with clear recommendations.
  • Establish KPI dashboards and ensure full attribution visibility across the JP/KR marketing funnel.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of B2C marketing experience with clear ownership of product marketing or demand generation programs.
  • Full professional fluency in Japanese, Korean, and English – Must.
  • Proven track record of building and executing GTM campaigns that directly generated pipeline and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent) and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with data, attribution modelling, and funnel metrics.
  • Ability to work independently across two markets with minimal oversight; self-starter with strong prioritisation skills.

Preferred :

  • Direct experience in AdTech, MarTech, programmatic advertising, or the digital media supply chain (DSP, SSP, DMP, attribution).
  • Established network within the Japanese or Korean advertising, media, or agency ecosystem.
  • Prior experience in a regional or dual-market role covering both JP and KR simultaneously.
