An exciting opportunity as an Operation Specialist at a leading global logistics company. Some of the responsibilities involve order processing of Shipper's Own Tanks (Round-Trip Operations) and handling of import and export orders for local customers.

Description
* Order processing of Shipper's Own Tanks (Round-Trip Operations)
* Handling of import and export orders for local customers
* Maintaining tank movement records in the company's fleet management system TCS.
* FMC and AMS Filing for transports to the United States.
* Incoming invoice check
* Freight billing to customers and agents
* Booking of export shipments to shipping companies and their agents.
* Monitoring of tank container maintenance and repair charges for SOT fleets
* Sales Support for new Shippers Own Tank inquiries (including freight calculations, equipment selection and customer consulting)
* Procurement of transport services.
* Outside appointments at customers and depots/service providers.
* Direct report to the Team Leader SOT Operations
Profile
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the international logistics industry as operations or customer service clerk - background in the Tank Container industry is a strongly referred.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, logistics or related field is a plus.
* Strong communication skills in Japanese and English.
* Ability to keep learning and improve your expertise.
* Open-mindedness for cross-cultural teamwork.
* Good process management skills (process automation, digitization).
