Mission Statement:
Project engineer Sr oversee the project engineering tasks from order received to the commissioning of the transformer, mainly from the viewpoint of technical coordination between Japan and supply factory. They coordinate the technical aspects of the project, directing and coordinating activities ensuring that the project is complete in line with technical requirement from customer and within budget. They should manage project engineers and their activities and ensure overall technical study and verification in order to keep sufficient quality level required in the Japanese utility market.
Main Accountabilities and Duties:
Responsible for project execution from the viewpoint of engineering after receipt order with good communication with project managers, project engineers and factory engineers.
Manage technical aspects of project such as design review, correspondence to Japanese specific request, so on to meet project specification and engineering requirements
Collaborate with Hitachi Ltd expert if needed to evaluate HE product correctly.
As front-end activity, discussion with customer as application engineering to be covered with good discussion inside HE such as HUB application engineering group and GPG, if needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
Educational Background:at minimum, bachelor’s degree of engineering or science, or equivalent
Required years of experience:minimum 5 years of experiences in power transformer products
Time management, presentation and planning skills
Ability to learn and work in new environment
Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
Strong in collaborative and communication skills
Language: Strong Japanese and advanced English communication
