Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Japan SDS Author with 3–5 years of hands-on experience who can independently author complete Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in compliance with Japanese regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient expert in SDS authoring, with strong knowledge of Japan GHS classification, chemical regulations, and transport classification, and proven ability to translate complex chemical and regulatory data into accurate, compliant SDS documents.
This role requires an individual who can take full ownership of the SDS authoring process - from data evaluation and hazard classification to final document completion in SAP (or equivalent SDS software) - while ensuring regulatory accuracy, consistency, and high quality across all SDS sections.
The successful candidate is proactive, detail-driven, and capable of working independently, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with evolving Japanese chemical regulations.
