Description
As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and guiding the technical and functional architecture of Infor’s industry-specific solutions. This role is essential to aligning our cloud-first innovation with customer needs, ensuring scalable, secure, and value-driven outcomes. You will work closely with sales, product, implementation teams, and executive stakeholders to craft compelling solution strategies and influence product roadmaps.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Lead the architectural design of enterprise solutions across Infor’s target industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Healthcare, Distribution).
- Be a strategic advisor to customers, translating complex business requirements into scalable and innovative solution architectures.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to create differentiated value propositions and contribute to RFP/RFI responses, executive presentations, and strategic workshops.
- Be a trusted advisor throughout the sales and implementation cycle, establishing credibility and confidence with C-level decision-makers.
- Define and maintain architectural best practices and design patterns that align with Infor’s technology strategy and customer success framework.
- Partner with Product Management and R&D to inform and influence product development roadmaps based on field feedback and industry trends.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise solution architecture, ideally within SaaS, ERP, or industry-specific platforms.
- Experience as a solution architect in one or more of Infor’s core industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Healthcare, Public Sector, Hospitality, Distribution).
- Experience architecting large-scale, multi-tiered cloud solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Experience of modern architectural principles including API integration, microservices, data lakes, and DevOps pipelines.
- Experience influencing senior executives, both internally and externally.
- Presentation experience; able to distil technical content for a non-technical audience.
- Experience working for a global, matrix organisation.
