Client Details
Our client is a multinational food manufacturing and trading company. The company specializes in agricultural commodities such as livestock (meats), grains, oils, etc. These commodities are sold to supermarkets, cafes, fast food chains, etc. The company was established over 150 years ago and now has a presence in over 50 countries. The Japan office has approximately 300 employees and is located in Central Tokyo.
Description
* Oversee operational flow from order processing, purchasing, importing, to shipping
* Supervise daily order to cash process and ensure smooth daily transactions
* Act as Subject Matter Expertise and handle issues escalated from team members and cross-functional departments
* Initiate process improvement projects that promote continuous improvement of customer service practices
* Manage the team by conducting performance management, talent development, and succession planning
Profile
* Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience
* Experience working in a manufacturing or trading company
* People management experience
* Experience working on process improvement projects preferred
* Fluent Japanese skills required and business level English skills preferred
* Must be a resident of Japan and/or must hold a valid working visa for Japan
