Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineer with a proven track record in desktop application development. As an onsite engineer, you will gather customer requirements and work closely with onsite and global team members to develop desktop applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development of C# applications
- Port legacy software applications to C#
- Prepare high-level software functional designs
- Collaborate closely with customers on semiconductor inspection equipment software design and development
- Work with offshore teams to communicate requirements and deliver software on schedule and with high quality
- Own the development process from requirements gathering through final delivery
- Clarify technical queries from offshore teams with customers
- Review offshore deliverables and ensure completion and quality
- Perform unit testing and bug fixing
- Validate software on equipment, analyze issues, and implement fixes
Job Qualifications:
- Experience developing desktop applications using C#
- Expertise in porting legacy software applications to C#
- Experience preparing software functional designs
- Hands-on experience with design patterns and SOLID principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Experience with WPF, XAML, and MVVM
- Experience with VC++ and MFC desktop application development
Language Skill: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
