Main responsibilities:

This position reports to Sales Team Leader, Account Sales Group and regularly report to her/him.

  • Develop new markets/accounts that will become core business in near future.
  • Develop sales initiatives for target market/account and achieve maximize order intake.
  • As activities for ‘Account Management’, create and make progress Account plan and Action plan.
  • Build strong relationships with target customers.
  • Manage customer information, opportunities progress and own activities (Customer visits, phone, etc) by utilizing CRM.
  • Offer flexible solutions to customers with other teams. (Engineering team, etc)
  • Perform other duties assigned to sales in a professional manner.

For the first 3 (max6) months after joining us, you will have training, and will learn about our business, process and organization. Such as…

  • Customer Relations, Quotations, Order processing, Coordination of internal and external delivery dates and shipments, etc.
  • Coordination with other departments for customer orders and quotations such as information sharing for process, pricing, and delivery dates,etc

Qualifications:

Education/degree

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Engineering or Business is required.

Work experience

  • 5+ years sales experience as sales representative, sales engineer or any sales relations role.
  • Experience of Solution sales. (Not route sales)
  • Using CRM experiences are highly desired.
  • Overseas working experiences are big plus.

  • Ability to develop long-term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements and business direction.
  • Ability to make technical and commercial decisions and proposals.

  • Basic financial knowledge.

Location: Hiratsuka (Possible work from home)
Language Skills: Japanese – Native level (Mandatory)
English – Writing and Reading
Travel Requirements: Domestic Travel several times a month and international travel occasionally
