OpenText Security Solutions SMB + Consumer, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to be based in Japan, joining our APAC & JAPAN Revenue Operations team.

The role requires general day to day support for regional sales team, especially on order fulfilment and pre-sales matters.

To achieve success in this role, the candidate will have the ability to provide effective support to the Sales organization, as well as communicate and work collaboratively with other teams, at all levels, across the global OpenText organization.

We are seeking an individual who are great at,

  • Ensuring accuracy of account and opportunity data in Salesforce.com. Supporting proactive resolution of any discrepancies to ensure reporting is timely and accurate.
  • Identifying areas for process automation and leading regional process improvement initiatives. Demonstrate thought leadership around sales processes and operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Order entry for all sales in region with an emphasis on ensuring company guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
  • Provide support to regional sales teams by answering questions and helping to resolve issues in timely and professional manner.
  • Gain proficiency with internal tools such as Salesforce.com and custom-built systems.
  • Creating report for sales analysis and forecasting.
  • Focus on operational efficiency and efficacy. Identify and report operational issues to Team Lead for discussion and resolution.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Salesforce.com
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in both English and Japanese.
  • Having experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Order Fulfilment or Customer Support is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up your sleeves”.
  • Ability to build relationship across multiple departments and externally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills to monitor and prioritize multiple activities at once.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
