We lead the creation of customer touchpoints and business growth through real-world channels, with a core focus on Rakuten Mobile shop operations. Our stores are not merely points for contract acquisition; they serve as the "front line of customer engagement" that provides cross-sectional access to Rakuten Group services including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience.
This department collaborates with various businesses and services within the Rakuten Group to expand customer value and maximize revenue opportunities originating from our stores. This position is responsible for designing and promoting cross-sectional initiatives that leverage Rakuten Group assets to create new value and drive sales growth within the store channel.

With the expansion of the Rakuten Mobile shop business, there is an increasing need to strengthen collaboration with various Rakuten Group services, starting from our physical stores, to maximize the value of customer touchpoints and expand revenue opportunities. To continuously create and promote cross-sectional initiatives that utilize group assets such as finance, e-commerce, and digital content beyond just acquiring telecommunications contracts, we are looking for a candidate who can drive projects from planning to execution while engaging relevant departments.
Position Details
In this position, you will plan and promote collaborative initiatives with various Rakuten Group services, starting from Rakuten Mobile shops, to realize the expansion of customer value and sales.
- Plan and promote cross-selling and customer referral initiatives that leverage stores in collaboration with various Rakuten Group services (finance, e-commerce, content, etc.).
- Take end-to-end responsibility for initiatives, from design and execution to effectiveness verification, while coordinating and reaching consensus with relevant departments.
- Promote the construction of a repeatable revenue generation model through the design and improvement of KPIs for synergy initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Practical experience in business planning, sales planning, alliance promotion, service planning, or cross-departmental project management.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and verifying the effectiveness of initiatives while collaborating with multiple relevant departments and internal/external stakeholders.
- Experience in improving initiatives based on quantitative data, including KPI design, performance monitoring, issue identification, and improvement proposals.
- Experience in operations related to sales floors, store channels, or sales promotion initiatives, or experience in promoting initiatives based on on-site operations.
- Experience in creating planning materials, performing numerical analysis, and reporting to stakeholders using PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in platform business, cross-selling initiatives, or business promotion utilizing data.
