APEX-RoW Technology Solutions (ARTS) team is seeking a customer-centric Technical Program Manager to drive software development projects supporting RoW operations. In this role, you will listen to operational needs and challenges, refine business requirements, then lead diverse projects all while solving emerging problems and driving successful implementations. Strong communication, facilitation, and coordination skills are essential, as you will collaborate with global teams across FCs, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management.

1. Project definition support for business owners - 40%:
Define projects with business owners (requirements, resources, schedules, post-launch impact tracking, etc.) and support/lead finalizing the BRD (Business Requirements Document). Beyond regular progress checks, you will identify potential risks and address the issues to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Business Adoption Support - 40%
Prepare for project launches (user test, launch supports, etc.) and address user feedback post-implementation. You will also track business impacts and troubleshoot with engineers and other stakeholders to drive business adoption.
3. Projects Roadmap - 20%
Build projects development plan by prioritizing diverse projects based on business impacts vs. development efforts. You will be familiar with global tools and provide the best path forward - whether creating custom tools or localizing global tools - to deliver the best solution in long-term.
About the team
We're an engineering team based in Japan, India, and China with members from 12 different countries working together. This role is based in Japan.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 2+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and PM/TPM work experience in software development team
- Track record of evaluating technical and business tradeoffs of different development options, and proposing the best short-term and long-term solutions
- Experience in prioritizing projects based on ROI and reaching consensus with stakeholders
