We are responsible for creating customer touchpoints through real-world channels and driving business growth, with a core focus on Rakuten Mobile shop operations. Our stores are not just places for acquiring contracts; they serve as the "front line of customer interaction," playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience by providing services across the Rakuten ecosystem, including telecommunications, finance, and e-commerce.
Sales Planning Section acts as a core function connecting management and the field, responsible for the visualization and analysis of various KPIs in the Rakuten Mobile shop business and translating them into sales strategies. With the rapid expansion of our store network, there is a growing need to build and advance our data-driven decision-making infrastructure.
Following our rapid nationwide store rollout, we are now entering the next phase: promoting "brand awareness and acquisition strengthening" at each individual location. In this position, you will serve as the cornerstone of our sales planning and store marketing strategy, driving the maximization of sales in real-world channels from an area-marketing perspective.

Position Details
In this role, you will plan and promote in-store and area-marketing initiatives for the Rakuten Mobile shop business, driving increased customer traffic and maximizing sales in real-world channels.
- Formulating strategies and planning for in-store initiatives (campaigns and events).
- Developing and maintaining manuals, systems, and tools used in shops nationwide.
- Promoting marketing initiatives for each area and managing project timelines.
- Planning and executing process improvements and new workflows for area marketing initiatives.
- Formulating long-term strategies for event implementation.
Work Environment
Marketing Promotion Group: 12 members
Breakdown: 1 Manager, 2 Assistant Managers, 9 Members
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Practical experience in sales planning, sales promotion planning, marketing planning, or store traffic generation initiatives.
- Experience managing the entire lifecycle of campaigns, events, or promotional initiatives, from planning and execution to project management and performance analysis.
- Experience collaborating, coordinating, and negotiating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
- Practical experience creating presentation materials using PowerPoint and performing numerical aggregation/analysis using Excel (proficiency in basic functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.).
- Experience organizing tasks, prioritizing, and taking initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- TOEIC score of 600 or higher

- A positive attitude and the ability to work with a sense of speed.
